Born
in 1963 in Warsaw. Lived in Vienna and Munich. Currently lives and
works in Warsaw.
She works witn various, often combined media: photography, film video, sculpture, installation. She represented Poland in the 1999 Venice Biennale whereshe gained international critical acclaim for her film installation Men's Bathouse. She scandalised the Polish artworld with ŒAnimal Pyramid1 at her graduation show in 1993 (exhibited in 1994 in Galeria a.r.t in Plock, Poland) and since then she has produced several major works that established as one of the most important Polish artists.
